Cherry Bekaert is searching for a Pricing Manager for a client in the government contracting space to support and lead proposal pricing efforts. This position is based in Columbia, MD with a hybrid schedule (1 day per week onsite) and offers a $145,000–$150,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus.

Pricing Manager (Government Proposal Pricing)

Position Overview

The Pricing Manager will play a key role in supporting government proposal pricing from development through submission. The ideal candidate brings deep experience building pricing models for Fixed Price (FFP) efforts and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven proposal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and lead government proposal pricing efforts across the proposal lifecycle.
• Develop and refine pricing models for FFP contracts; experience building cost models that include equipment is highly preferred.
• Price efforts including fixed price, fixed labor rate, and cost reimbursable work.
• Contribute to proposal development and preparation with strong attention to detail and compliance requirements.
• Apply working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and government cost accounting principles/standards to ensure compliant and well-supported pricing.

Qualifications

Required

• 5 years of experience supporting government proposal pricing efforts.
• Experience with FFP, fixed labor rate, and cost reimbursable efforts.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR and government cost accounting principles/standards.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Preferred

• BS/BA in accounting, math, business, or a related field.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint (plus, not required).

Salary : $145,000 - $150,000
