Senior Accountant ($100k-$115k 10% Bonus)

Expanding from 15 to 100 employees in the last decade, the company excels in property management, development, and diverse investment strategies including JV and bank/PE partnerships. Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial packages for owners; deliverables are due 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th
- Analyze General Ledger activities for accuracy and determine if reclassification is needed
- Work closely with Project Managers regarding monthly and quarterly deliverables and journal entries reclassification
- Prepare monthly and quarterly lender compliance reports
- Prepare monthly and quarterly complex upper tier distribution schedules and portfolio distribution schedules
- Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheet workbooks for the assigned portfolios
- Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliation for each property in the assigned portfolio for weekly cash management reports and month-end close
- Perform monthly management fees calculation in MRI and Yardi Accounting System as well as Excel Spreadsheet calculation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Commercial real estate background is a plus, as well as experience working with MRI, Yardi and NEXUS
- Must be a team player and flexible with competing priorities
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
