Financial Analyst (FP&A)
Hybrid - Washington D.C./Baltimore Area
Base: $80K–$100K Bonus
Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a well‑established organization to identify a Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role reporting directly to the Director of FP&A and supporting multiple operational business groups.
This position is open due to internal movement and offers strong visibility, meaningful ownership, and long‑term growth within the FP&A function.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support departmental and cost‑center budgets across multiple operating teams
- Assist with forecasting (monthly, quarterly, annual) for revenue and expenses
- Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision‑making
- Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis and prepare management‑ready reporting
- Partner with non‑finance stakeholders to understand drivers, assumptions, and trends
- Contribute to month‑end and quarter‑end analysis and reporting processes
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- ~2–5 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance
- Hands‑on experience putting budgets and forecasts together (ownership not required)
- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of financial modeling
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally in an operating environment
- Experience with planning systems or ERPs a plus (e.g., Adaptive, Workday, Yardi)
- Real estate or asset‑based exposure is helpful but not required
