Opening Teacher (HHS Training Provided)

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Opening Shift Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties

• Lead and supervise classroom activities during the opening shift, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to daily schedules.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including early intervention strategies and literacy education.
• Foster a nurturing environment that supports toddlers’ care needs, behavior management, and social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate with team members to create inclusive classroom experiences that address special education needs and promote childhood development milestones.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, classroom activities, and welfare.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques and classroom management best practices.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards, health and safety regulations, and program policies related to childcare, preschool experience, and daycare operations.

Requirements

• Passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
• Prior experience in classroom management, lesson planning, or teaching young children; preschool or daycare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, behavior management techniques, and standardized testing methods relevant to early childhood education.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, families, and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently during the opening shift while collaborating as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in HHS training programs designed to enhance your skills in early intervention, special education, literacy education, math instruction, Montessori methods or physical education.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.50 per hour
