Responsibilities
- Conduct viable and non-viable particle count monitoring in Aseptic Processing Facilities across the NIH Intramural Program
- Perform laboratory work in a cGMP facility following cGMP requirements
- Coordinates disinfectants and lethality studies
- Monitors trends and data analysis of cultures
- Supports quarterly personal qualification documentation as a quality control function
- Documents routine procedures following laboratory and company guidelines in accordance with GMP regulations in sterile dosage forms, USP <797>/USP <800>, testing requirements for microbiological procedures, 21 CFR parts 210/211, and other FDA regulations /guidelines
- Ensures that sampling equipment is available as needed, properly calibrated and is in working order. Performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs or arranges for service. Reviews and recommends new equipment, schedules demonstrations, and initiates procurement. Coordinates installation, certification, and training for new equipment

- Minimum of an B.S. degree in a related field.

- Computer literate.
- Possess sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and social sensitivity to enable relating constructively to a variety of patients from diverse backgrounds.
