The Shift Supervisor supports the MDA Security and Emergency Management Directorate (DSS) in managing Security Operations Services at MDA facilities located throughout the United States.

This posting is for a part time Shift Supervisor role. The days will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Manages and supervises management and hourly staff to ensure access control, visitor support, and alarm
- response and dispatch operations are being executed in full compliance with contract requirements.
- Works in collaboration with the site Operations Managers, and Shift Supervisors to ensure all contract obligations are met.
- Supervises Security Control Center operations to include Access Control/Response/Circulation Enforcement, Badge Administration, and Common Access Card Administration.
- Ensure all security personnel are professionally trained and capable of conducting primary duties.
- Provide first response & assessment of emergency situations (Red Cross first aid, Adult CPR, external defibrillator (AED) certifications)
- Conduct security inspections, respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and aid as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in security or law enforcement administration and substantial operations experience in the armed forces, physical security, or law enforcement, 6 years of which are at the supervisory level.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in analytical decision making and administrative work at the executive management level.
- Minimum of an associate or bachelor’s degree in security, law enforcement, or management related fields (or equivalent training and experience).
- Must have prior experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor of similar size and scope to this contract.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must know of various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
