Summary
- The Armed Security Officer III/Sergeant ensures all performance objectives and standards are met for specific location during their respective shift.
- Administers instructions to security personnel assigned to the site and assures that all officers are familiar with the facility and their duties.
- Verify that all officers receive and understand new, changed, or special instructions.
- Assist in conducting investigations into security matters and report findings to chain-of-command and the client.
- Maintain security oversight of special assignments and events as directed by the client.
- Will review and ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and legibility of all written reports.
- Keeps post orders & operations manual accurate and up to date.
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of four (2) years’ experience in law enforcement or a security related area, military is also acceptable for this requirement.
- Must meet the minimum criteria of the Interagency Security Committee (ISC) Best Practices for Armed Security Officers in Federal Facilities
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
