Chemik Healthcare Services Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one‑on‑one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in the home. This role allows you to focus on individualized care in a calm, family‑centered environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) & Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to work full-time and part-time shifts (days, nights and weekends available).

Job duties include but are not limited to: Maintain compliance with agency policy and procedures.

Follow Medicare and Medicaid regulations ( as applicable) .


Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities/essential functions The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
    Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
    Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
    Coordination of care
    Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
    Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient

4. Observe, assess, and document symptoms. *

  • Monitor reactions and patient progress. *
  • Coordinate patient services. *
  • Notify the physician of any change in the patient’s condition. *
  • Perform skill outline in the agency’s approved policy and procedure manual. *
  • Update clinical records according to policy and procedures. *
  • Update knowledge and skills by attending in-service programs, continuing education programs, seminars, and self-study programs annually. *
  • Adhere to Medicaid and Medicare regulations. *

Environmental Elements: Employee works in an home environment sometimes with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Employees may interact with upset staff and/or public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures. Employee will have to travel to a variety of patient homes and perform in conditions that vary greatly depending upon the client’s home environment. Some homes will be clean, neat, and maintained at a comfortable temperature. Other homes may be cluttered, dirty, with an uncomfortable temperature. Qualifications/Educational Requirements :

  • Be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse(L.V.N.) with an active current license in Texas. 
  • Minimum of atleast one year of nursing experience as a L.V.N or RN.
  • Work positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff.

Pay: Bi-Monthly 


Pay Philosphy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value and reimbursement factors for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
