Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments to characterize cellular response.
- Work closely with proteomics and transcriptomics teams.
- Support data integration for systems biology models.
- Prepare SOPs and regulatory-compliant reports.
- Train junior personnel in lab methods.
- The contractor will be expected to execute their assigned tasks, and to share their findings with other members of the project team. Possesses good written and oral communication skills.
- The Contractor is expected to write reports and publications and present their findings in meetings.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of immunological signaling pathways.
- Familiarity with tissue sample processing.
- Strong analytical and collaboration skills.
- Shall be knowledgeable in a relevant field of the life sciences and have desired experience working in a research laboratory.
- Shall have demonstrated their subject matter expertise in at least one area, and their ability to conduct independent research through publication of several technical reports and/or peer-reviewed publications.
- Bachelor's degree in biology or related field.
- Minimum 4 years in biomedical, cellular, or systems biology research.
- Experience in cell culture and imaging techniques.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance eligibility, with no access to classified information, is required.
- Enroll in the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP), if required.
- ACTIVE SECRET is preferred
- Master's degree preferred.
