Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment in both manufacturing and office settings.
- Conduct routine inspections for safety and regulatory compliance, including ladders, fire extinguishers, steam traps, fleet vehicles, and more.
- Provide general building maintenance and support services such as furniture relocation, lighting repairs, HVAC monitoring, and office upkeep.
- Calibrate equipment as needed and respond to on-call duties, including steam generator repairs and other urgent maintenance needs.
- Carry out plant maintenance tasks such as pump and hose repairs, grounding, cleaning, and painting.
- Adhere to all company safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures while accurately processing maintenance work orders to maintain up-to-date records.
- Support overall facility operations by ensuring timely repairs, compliance, and documentation across all maintenance activities.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial/industrial plumbing or preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with safety protocols including confined space entry, lockout/tagout, spill response, and fire safety (preferred).
- Experience with equipment such as pumps, mixers, steam generators, air compressors, and HVAC systems (preferred).
- Availability for occasional off-shift work and Saturday overtime
- Ability to communicate effectively and exchange accurate information.
