Responsibilities
- Develop new and improved products for Chem-Trend worldwide in order to meet customer demands in a rapid manner.
- Provide rapid and timely technical service, assisting Sales and customers.
- Recommend R&D programs (internal or external), investigate, develop, and implement new technologies.
- Provide technical support to all company departments.
- Effectively interface with suppliers in identifying, qualifying, and in some cases developing new raw materials.
- Participate in developing new lab testing procedures.
- Serve as a mentor to less experienced technical staff, helping to improve the overall scientific caliber of the Lab personnel.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
- 1-5 years working in Chemistry or a related field.
- High level of technical expertise in lubricants or surface chemistry- a plus.
