Position Responsibilities:
Hands-on laboratory work, conducting experiments, analyzing samples, etc.
General job functions ---
- will be working under the supervision of a senior PhD chemist.
- will assist in the development of new chemical synthesis manufacturing processes and the improvement of existing ones.
- will support the resolution of manufacturing and product quality issues and provide technical assistance to the production team.
- will assemble and set up lab equipment, perform synthesis and experiments.
- observe and record all details and document the results of the above work.
- perform minor maintenance on the lab equipment.
- prepare list of supplies, parts etc. needed to conduct the synthesis work.
- maintain a high standard of housekeeping, follow chemical hygiene plan and all the lab safety procedures.
Bachelor’s degree (organic chemistry courses) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
