Role & Responsibilities: As a Rockwall Instructor, you will have the responsibility of delivering customer service in line with our Chelsea Piers Standards of Excellence. The responsibilities and duties described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities Work desk shifts at the Rockwall Delivers customer service in line with our Chelsea Piers Standards of Excellence Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness Greet, assist, and accommodate guests Coach Rockwall private lessons as needed Participate in special and member events as scheduled Qualifications Qualifications Candidates must have at least 5 years of rock climbing and teaching experience High-energy, personable and passion for fitness with a team-first mentality Analysis and understanding of key business metrics that directly impact membership growth Self-motivated/entrepreneurial spirit with an outgoing, diligent and affable disposition Superior customer service skills; excellent and clear communication skills, both verbal and written; strong organizational skills and attention to detail Must be able to lift 30 to 45 pounds or appropriate weight to lead session
