What You'll Do: 

• Support the planning, organization, and execution of engaging activities and enrichment programs for all residents, including those with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and provide personalized 1:1 visits for residents who prefer in-apartment interaction.
• Encourage, motivate, and escort residents to activities, utilizing technology to enhance their participation and overall experience.
• Perform administrative tasks such as initial resident engagement surveys and maintain professional communication with residents’ families and staff.
• Demonstrates confidence and presence when leading engaging group activities for older adults, fostering participation, inclusion, and a positive environment.

What You'll Need: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Publisher, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds while performing job duties
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
• Long term care activities experience preferred
