Production Trainee 12hour shifts(days/overnights)

Physical & Drug Screening Required

Responsibilities

· Perform all responsibilities safely.

· Remove profiles from extrusion line and pack neatly, properly, and safely on racks.

· Package products correctly and neatly.

· Complete production paperwork accurately and legibly.

· Measure product lengths and identify defects.

· Perform general housekeeping, such as dusting, sweeping, and disposing of debris.

· Assist technicians with machine operation as necessary.

Requirements

· Must be able to work 12-hour shifts with two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute break.

· Must be able to identify product defects and qualities visually and physically.

· Must be able to work safely with industrial equipment and machinery.

· Must be able to communicate verbally and visually with co-workers.

· Must be free of the influence of alcohol and/or intoxicating drugs while on duty.

· Must be able to perform basic math.

· Must be able to properly use a tape measure.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

· Must be able to continuously lift items over 16 feet long that weigh up to 20 pounds.

· Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift while packing materials and moving finished goods to and from the production area.

Environmental Considerations

· Temperatures can range from below 60°F to over 100°F degrees; there is no air conditioning in the plant.

· Employees will be on their feet on concrete floors the majority of the 12-hour shift.

· Steel-toe footwear and safety glasses are required in the plant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
