What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Chelsea Building Products, Inc.?
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate marketing projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials, sales collateral, presentations, email campaigns, and product literature.
- Support digital marketing initiatives, including website updates, social media content, email communications, photography, and video projects.
- Help coordinate trade shows, customer meetings, company events, and product launches, including logistics, promotional materials, and on-site support.
- Maintain marketing assets, sample inventory, digital files, and branded materials for the sales team and customers.
- Manage customer databases, lead programs, customer initiatives, and marketing campaigns while assisting with reporting and program tracking.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, and outside vendors to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Assist with content creation, basic graphic updates, and social media scheduling. Experience with Canva is preferred but not required.
- Monitor project progress, organize priorities, and support continuous improvement of marketing processes and communication.
- Travel periodically to support trade shows, customer events, plant tours, meetings, and other marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of marketing, communications or related experience preferred. Experience preferred but not required. Would consider a recent graduate.
- Experience with Canva is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, events and customer visits
