About the Role
We’re looking for a Flutter Developer to own our mobile application. This is a hands-on role where you’ll build new features, create reusable components, and drive mobile architecture decisions. Our app is designed to work seamlessly offline in environments where connectivity is limited or unavailable, so experience with offline-first architecture is essential. You’ll work closely with our backend and frontend teams and have real ownership over the mobile user experience.
All current positions require candidates to be located in Raleigh, NC. These are in-office roles. We are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
- Collaboration with cross-functional team members to deliver on company objectives
- Code review, mentorship, and contribution to engineering best practices
- Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned or as business needs require
Required Skills
- 4 years of professional mobile development experience
- Strong proficiency with Flutter and Dart
- Experience building enterprise SaaS applications
- Experience with offline-first architecture, local data persistence, and sync strategies (Hive or similar)
- Deep knowledge of mobile UI/UX patterns and responsive design
- Experience with state management
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds
- Understanding of platform-specific guidelines (iOS Human Interface, Material Design)
- Experience with version control (Git)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with native mobile platform APIs
- Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, MongoDB)
- Experience with testing frameworks (Flutter test, integration testing)
- Experience with Firebase or other mobile backend services
- Familiarity with app store deployment processes (App Store, Google Play)
- Open-source contributions or side projects
