Position Summary
The Culinary Care Provider plays a vital role in supporting clients in their homes by preparing fresh, personalized meals and assisting with light meal-related tasks. This role blends culinary skill with compassionate care, helping clients maintain nutrition, routine, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritious, home-style meals in clients’ homes according to care plans and dietary preferences
- Follow basic nutrition guidelines and any dietary restrictions (low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, soft foods, etc.)
- Assist with meal planning and simple grocery coordination as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Label and store prepared meals properly for future use
- Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and care teams
- Document services provided per company guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience with meal preparation, culinary work, or in-home support preferred
- Passion for helping others and providing compassionate service
- Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and dietary guidelines
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work independently in clients’ homes
- Food safety knowledge preferred (training provided if needed)
