Job Summary
The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and unloading and accurately putting away all received shipments using the shipping terminal & warehouse management software.
Job Duties:
- Receives, unloads, and accurately moves all received items to proper inventory location or department.
- Monitors and supports production flow as needed by keeping the production floor clear.
- Accurately move all finished goods from production to proper inventory location.
- Builds shipments by packaging and labeling various groups of parts properly to ensure they are not damaged during shipping.
- Data entry in inventory & warehouse systems.
- Handle material for recycling – bundle cardboard, sort electronics, or other requirements.
- Pack, wrap, and label items appropriately for shipment.
- Processes shipment completely and stages for pick-up.
- Follows proper inventory procedures and policies at all times.
- Assist in warehouse clean-up and reconfiguring, as requested.
- Participates in physical inventory count & perform cycle count.
- Assist Hard Tags as needed.
- Meet all safety requirements with 0 incidents.
- Ability to work overtime/weekends as needed to support business or customer needs
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
- Three (3) years’ experience shipping all types of parcel, LTL, TL and international shipments
- Two (2) years’ experience operating forklift
- Computer proficiency, including data entry.
- Prefer work experience in a facility utilizing Warehouse Management System (SAP.)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Basic math aptitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Detail oriented to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to understand and learn the SAP system.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Team player who can work with others to perform day-to-day responsibilities.
Pay Rate: $17 - $18 per hour

Schedule:
- 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
- Overtime and weekends are required
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
