We are looking for someone to join our team! We are in search of a part-time front desk/medical receptionist for our fast-paced, family-owned physical therapy practice in Grayslake!
Front Desk/Medical Receptionist in Physical Therapy Practice
Location: Grayslake, Illinois
Responsibilities:
- Make a positive first impression with patients both on the phone and in person; greet "with a smile," and communicate with patients in a friendly manner
- Be a team player; have mutual respect for team; partner with front desk and clinical team to create an exceptional experience for patients
- Coordinate patient scheduling; notify clinical staff of patient arrivals and needs; schedule appointments in accordance with guidelines based on nature of treatment
- Enter patient insurance information; inform patients of practice’s payment policy; collect copays and balances
- Verify insurance benefits via online portals and by calling insurances and speaking with representatives
- Maintain HIPAA compliance through patient confidentiality
- Maintain clean, organized work environment
- Medical billing experience preferred
Medical office experience preferred. Ability to multitask. Attention to detail very important. Welcoming, positive attitude a must! Please include a cover letter with resume.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
