Central CUSD #4 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to serve students in Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. This resource position may also include co-teaching within general education classrooms to support inclusive practices and meet the diverse needs of our learners.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and small group instruction aligned to students’ IEP goals.

Collaborate with general education teachers to plan and deliver co-taught lessons.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.

Communicate effectively with families, support staff, and related service providers.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required.

Experience working with elementary students in a special education setting preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
