Maintenance Assistant

CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction.

We are currently looking for a motivated, conscientious and dedicated full-time Maintenance Assistant to helps to maintain CHC Facilities.

Duties Include:

• Maintains CHC parking lots by removing snow, leaves and other debris, trash pick-up, etc.
• Light maintenance to include, light bulb changes, window cleaning, furniture repair, office and equipment moves, restock supplies.
• Pressure washing CHC buildings and walkways as directed by supervisor.
• Housing – unit clean out and preparing units for MIR (move in ready) including painting and cleaning as needed
• Assist with maintaining landscaping as needed
  
  
  

Starting rate of pay: $17.00

Although the normal schedule will be 7:00am-3:00pm Monday through Friday, there may be occasional evening and weekend hours as projects or emergencies arise.

Minimum Requirements: Must have High School Diploma. Must have the ability to lift and carry large objects. Must have a good driving record and a valid Ohio Driver’s license.
