Chaz Limited Collision Express, an Alaskan family-owned business proudly serving our community since 1978, is seeking qualified and motivated Journeyman Auto Body and Frame Technicians to join our growing team in Alaska.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Journeyman-level Auto Body and Frame Technicians to safely and efficiently return vehicles to pre-accident condition. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, DRP-driven environment while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform auto body repairs, including dent repair, panel replacement, and frame straightening
  • Apply I-CAR–certified repair techniques to meet or exceed industry standards
  • Complete structural and non-structural collision repairs
  • Utilize MIG welding and fabrication skills for specialized repairs
  • Conduct restoration and detailing to ensure high-quality finishes
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
  • Maintain strong customer service standards and professional communication

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume, DRP collision repair shop
  • Proven skills with all metal types, frame repair, plastic repair, PDR, and welding
  • Proven ability to complete light to heavy repairs, including structural components
  • Strong knowledge of frame repair and measuring systems
  • Aluminum repair experience required
  • I-CAR, ASE, and/or manufacturer certifications highly preferred
  • Car-O-Liner training and certifications highly preferred
