Bartender – Chayo Mexican Kitchen Tequila Bar (Las Vegas)

Location: The LINQ Promenade, Las Vegas, NV
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour tips (average $200–$500 per shift, depending on the day of the week)

About Us

Chayo Mexican Kitchen Tequila Bar is one of the busiest spots on the Las Vegas Strip, known for bold Mexican flavors, a large tequila and mezcal selection, live entertainment, and a party-ready atmosphere. We want experienced bartenders who do well in a fast, high-energy room and give every guest a memorable Vegas experience.

What You'll Do

• Make and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty tequila drinks quickly and consistently
• Keep pours accurate and follow recipe specs every time
• Give friendly, engaging service during peak rushes
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized throughout the shift
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and all health and safety standards
• Work as a team with servers, barbacks, and management

Requirements

• At least 3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or nightclub (a venue doing $20 million or more in annual revenue)
• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Fast, accurate pouring (this is required)
• Strong knowledge of tequila and mezcal knowledge is a plus as we have over 150 tequilas and mezcals.
• Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails required
• Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure
• Valid Nevada Alcohol Awareness (TAM) Card and SNHD Food Handler Card, or the ability to get them before your start date
• Must be 21 or older
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
