What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Welfare Specialist and Kennel Technician position at Chattahoochee Humane Society?
We are looking for an Animal Welfare Specialist and Kennel Technician to join our team and provide care for our animals. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kennel, feeding and providing water to the animals, administering medications, and providing basic grooming services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain kennels and other areas of the facility.
- Provide food and water to animals in the kennel.
- Monitor animal behavior and health.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and nail trimming of animals.
- Maintain accurate records of animals in the kennel.
- Follow safety protocols when handling animals.
*This is a full time position, so applicants must be available to work during daytime business hours, as well as some occasional weekend shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
