Overview
Chatham Valet Inc. is seeking professional, energetic, and guest-focused Valet Attendants for the 2026 season. As a key member of our hospitality and transportation team, you will deliver exceptional service at premier resorts, wedding venues, private clubs, and high-end events across Cape Cod.
Valet Attendants are the first and last impression of our company and our partner venues. Your courtesy, efficiency, and skill in handling vehicles—including larger vans and SUVs—ensure a seamless, elevated experience consistent with the luxury standards of Chatham Bars Inn, Wychmere Beach Club, Heritage Museums, Nauticus Marina, and other prestigious properties.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Professionalism
- Provide a warm, Forbes-style greeting to each guest while assisting with doors, directions, and personal belongings.
- Deliver smooth arrival and departure experiences for guests, wedding parties, VIPs, and corporate groups.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with guests and colleagues.
Vehicle Handling & Parking Operations
- Safely operate a wide range of vehicles, including:
- Luxury cars
- SUVs and trucks
- Rental vehicles
- Larger passenger vans (12–15 passenger)
- Follow the Chatham Valet 1–2–3 parking method, safe reversing protocols, and speed guidelines.
- Maintain organized, clean parking layouts using cones, signage, and traffic-control tools.
- Assist with high-volume traffic management during peak events and wedding transitions.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with supervisors on logistics for weddings, shuttles, airport pickups, and resort operations.
- Assist transportation drivers with loading luggage, staging vehicles, and directing guests.
- Perform basic inspections for visible vehicle damage, fuel levels, and operational concerns.
Safety & Compliance
- Strictly follow all safety policies, including:
- No cell phones while driving
- No reversing unless mirrors provide a clear rear view
- Count three seconds before turning the wheel when exiting a space
- Maintain safe driving speeds at all times
- Protect guest property and confidentiality.
- Immediately report accidents, unsafe conditions, or unusual guest interactions.
Requirements
- Excellent guest service skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
- Ability to confidently drive a variety of vehicles, including larger vans, SUVs, and trucks.
- Experience driving bigger vehicles is a strong plus.
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a major plus and may lead to additional transportation hours.
- Ability to run, jog, or walk quickly for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-groomed appearance.
- Weekend and holiday availability during peak season is required.
- Previous valet, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required—full training will be provided.
Seasonal Schedule & Compensation
- Season: April/May through October (peak summer availability required)
- Locations: Chatham, Harwich Port, Dennis, Hyannis, Osterville & surrounding event venues
- Compensation: Competitive hourly wage tips
- Opportunities for growth into Lead Valet, Shift Supervisor, Shuttle Driver, or CDL Transportation Driver positions.

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
