Relativity is a leading legal data intelligence company. The Kubernetes Integration Team seeks a Senior Engineer to prototype and build new tooling atop Kubernetes. You'll have a thorough background in Kubernetes and cloud computing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate distributed, scalable, secure full-stack cloud services at petabyte scale.
- Build accessible user interfaces and backend services/data pipelines delivering customer impact.
- Collaborate daily with teammates and product partners to build AI-powered legal data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments.
- Influence reliability, security, and performance practices.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship, lead design and code reviews.
- Drive service ownership via reliability efforts, on-call rotations, and incident response.
Required:
- 5 years designing, building, and operating cloud-native systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native development and distributed architectures.
- Ability to deliver complex solutions end to end, improving quality through design discussions and code reviews.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, observability, and incident response.
- Experience guiding and mentoring other engineers.
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong background in AI agentic coding, or eagerness to learn.
- Experience building full-stack systems at scale.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and scalability trade-offs.
- Experience in high-scale or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with AI-development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
