Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to build scalable services and standardized APIs for an occupational health platform. The role involves working across the stack, designing and implementing OpenAPI-defined endpoints using Fastify, generating SDKs, and contributing to a modern web experience with TypeScript, React 19, TailwindCSS, and MongoDB. A key aspect is embracing AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop standardized, well-documented APIs using Fastify and OpenAPI spec.
• Use Stainless and similar tooling to generate SDKs.
• Implement new features across the stack using TypeScript/JavaScript, React 19, TailwindCSS, Bootstrap 5.3, and MongoDB.
• Maintain and extend BlueHive's API-first architecture.
• Collaborate with Product and Partner Engineering for integrations with HRIS, ATS, and EHR systems.
• Participate in agile development processes (stand-ups, code reviews, sprint planning).
• Create automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Leverage AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI API) to improve efficiency.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of professional software-development experience (2 years at senior level).
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern Node.js.
• Strong understanding of API design principles (REST, OpenAPI, SDK generation).
• Experience with Fastify, Express, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with MongoDB.
• Experience building front-end features with React or Blaze, styled with TailwindCSS/Bootstrap 5.
• Comfort with Linux/macOS development environments and Git workflows.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI Codex).
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to API marketplaces or platform-as-a-service environments.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright).
• Understanding of authentication/authorization standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO).
• Experience collaborating on OpenAPI-driven documentation pipelines.
