About The Role

Writing-first role on the SEO team, producing and optimizing high-quality SEO content for B2B technology customers. Requires strategic depth to diagnose content performance issues and translate data into action. Manages a small number of accounts end-to-end, occasionally oversees freelance writers, and leads performance reporting.

What You'll Do

• Write gold-standard content: flagship blogs, guides, landing pages
• Edit and elevate AI-generated content to publication quality
• Partner with AI implementation team to improve AI content workflows
• Contribute to AEO work (prompt tracking, citation monitoring, AEO audits)
• Diagnose content performance gaps using technical SEO analysis and competitive research
• Refresh and optimize existing content for rankings, engagement, and AI-powered discovery
• Stay current on AI search tools (Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews)
• Own content execution for 3–4 customer accounts
• Occasionally manage freelance writers
• Lead monthly performance reports for customers
• Join customer calls and build trusted relationships
• Collaborate with design on visuals
• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and process improvements
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 4–6 years of experience in content marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or agency setting
• Exceptional writing ability: produce publication-ready SEO content with minimal revision
• Deep SEO knowledge: keyword research, on-page optimization, content audits, competitive analysis
• Emerging AEO fluency: understanding of AI-driven discovery tools
• Comfort working with AI content workflows
• Analytical mindset: interpret performance data to inform decisions
• Familiarity with tools like GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Clearscope
• AI fluency: use AI tools responsibly and stay current on best practices
• Technical curiosity: enjoy learning how software products work
• Content operations: manage multiple accounts and contributors
• Strong communication and remote collaboration skills
