About The Role
Split your time between delivering client training (on-site and remote) and developing documentation, facilitator guides, and workflow materials.
What You'll Do
Training Delivery
- Deliver on-site and remote clinical EHR training to new clients (2-3 client go-lives per month)
- Partner with implementation teams to understand client goals
- Train appropriately sized groups based on instructional best practices
- Act as trusted advisor to clinicians during go-lives
- Create comprehensive best-practice workflow documentation
- Develop detailed facilitator guides with timing, talking points, and transitions
- Design structured training agendas with clear learning objectives
- Build training materials: user guides, quick reference cards, job aids
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation
- Manage content development staff through coaching and feedback
- Delegate content tasks; ensure quality standards
- Evaluate and recommend LMS platforms; manage content
- Identify process improvements and implement changes
- Collaborate with sales teams on training schedules and capacity planning
- Contribute clinical expertise to product, sales, and support teams
- Jump in on company-wide initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
- 5 years as RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant
- 2 years teaching or training EHR/EMR software
- Hospice and/or palliative care clinical experience (major plus)
- Proven track record creating training documentation, facilitator guides, or instructional materials
- Experience in small company environments (multiple hats)
- Background in process documentation, workflow analysis, or continuous improvement
- Management, mentoring, or team leadership experience
- Know hospice and palliative care workflows and regulations
- Gifted trainer engaging diverse learning styles
- Strong writer creating clear, user-friendly documentation
- Organized and realistic about capacity
- Entrepreneurial self-starter who fixes problems
- Flexible and adaptable
- Embraces technology and AI
- Listens and collaborates well across teams
- Coaches and develops team members
- Excited by up to 50% travel
