About The Role
Provn is hiring an Agentic Software Engineer II for a travel technology company, focusing on leveraging AI-powered development tools as a core part of the daily workflow. This role involves independently delivering features from implementation to production, making critical judgments on implementation approaches and quality tradeoffs. You will be responsible for reviewing AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance, and consulting with senior engineers on architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and shipping features and services across a full-stack travel platform.
- Utilizing AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in daily workflows.
- Reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
- Refactoring and modernizing existing services using cloud-native design patterns.
- Writing clean, testable, and peer-reviewed code.
- Contributing to the development and operations of a distributed architecture.
- Advocating for quality, durability, and technical debt reduction.
- Safeguarding member data privacy and security.
- Contributing to backend and system SLOs.
- 3-5 years of full-stack development experience.
- 1 year of hands-on experience with AI coding agents in professional workflows.
- Proficiency in two or more of: TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET.
- Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong foundation in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency using AI coding agents for code generation, refinement, and debugging.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques.
- Awareness of the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Familiarity with real-time streaming or distributed messaging platforms (Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ).
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Agile software delivery experience.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Bonus points for working knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, RAG, LangChain, or graph-based data technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the US. No visa sponsorship.
