Base Salary: $145,000 – $165,000/year
Chateau Bothell Landing, part of Chateau Retirement Communities, is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community in Bothell, WA. What You’ll Do
- Own total community performance- resident experience, team leadership, operations, and financial outcomes.
- Lead with disciplined execution: set clear priorities, follow through, and ensure consistent performance across all departments.
- Build, coach, and hold department heads accountable, you are the leader of leaders in the building.
- Drive occupancy and reputation through strong operations, resident experience, and local community engagement.
- Create a culture of trust, accountability, and belonging for residents, families, and team members.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and proactively manage risk without losing focus on quality and experience.
- Operate within Chateau’s leadership model: execution is local, systems are supported centrally, and accountability remains with the ED.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Executive Leadership: 5 years leading senior living operations with full accountability for outcomes- occupancy, NOI, resident experience, and team performance.
- Ownership Mindset: Demonstrates strong accountability with consistent follow-through; takes responsibility for results and ensures commitments are executed.
- Prioritization & Judgment: Ability to quickly discern what matters most, balancing urgency, impact, and risk, and allocating time and resources accordingly.
- Decisive Operator: Makes timely, well-informed decisions; does not allow ambiguity or delay to stall progress.
- People Leadership: Builds, mentors, and holds department heads accountable, developing strong teams while addressing performance directly and effectively.
- Financial Acumen: Comfortable owning budgets, understanding drivers of performance, and making decisions that improve financial outcomes.
- Communication Excellence: Clear, direct, and consistent communicator with residents, families, team members, and external partners; creates alignment and eliminates confusion.
- Hands-On Leadership Style: Present, engaged, and willing to step in where needed, while building a culture of ownership across the team.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $145,000 – $165,000
- Performance-Based Bonus: Monthly move-in incentives annual NOI growth bonus
- Total Compensation Potential: $200,000 – $265,000 based on performance
