Housekeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in residential settings. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall hygiene of our clients’ homes, providing exceptional service with attention to detail and professionalism.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and outdoor areas as needed.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for residents.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to dust surfaces, clean floors, sanitize surfaces, and handle laundry tasks efficiently.
• Conduct floor cleaning and floor care activities such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, or polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns.
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of cleaning equipment.
• Follow time management practices to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations related to janitorial work, sanitation, and outdoor maintenance when applicable.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with strong janitorial skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals used in household environments.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work when required.
• Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus for maintaining exterior areas of residences.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week

Work Location: In person

Salary : $18 - $20
