Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team in our scratch kitchen. We take pride in being a top-rated fine dining restaurant in addition to being a premier event venue.

*Sundays and Mondays off*

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, fostering a positive and respectful work environment, ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation. This position requires strong leadership abilities, culinary expertise in a multi-cuisine setting, and a commitment to excellence in food service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in event planning and execution, ensuring offerings are innovative while maintaining the authenticity of our continental recipes.
  • Support coworkers, providing training and feedback to enhance their cooking skills and efficiency.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and food safety standards are met.
  • Help cook and prepare meals according to established recipes while maintaining consistency in flavor and presentation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

  • minimum 3 years of advanced cooking techniques, various cuisine knowledge in a fine dining/event venue setting
  • Excellent communication and emphasis on teamwork
  • Proven culinary leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices, allergens, and food management principles.
  • Excellent skills in food preparation techniques, ensuring consistency and quality of our recipes.
  • Scratch Kitchen

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
