What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Cream Server/Cashier position at Chastain Creamery?
Chastain Creamery is looking for fun, energetic, hardworking “crew members” to join our Atlanta based team. Our top priority is to provide creamery guests with the best customer service. Guests should experience southern hospitality and feel right at home during every visit. Your menu knowledge will help answer questions and guide guests through 30 premium ice cream flavors. Prior cashier, quick service or specialty restaurant experience and current Georgia food handler card a plus. If you’re a team player who loves ice cream and working in a fun environment–apply today!
Routine responsibilities of a crew member include: greeting guests, taking orders, learning the menu, scooping ice cream and preparing other desserts. Professional and friendly communication between the crew, customers and management is required. Additional duties include:
- Cashier duties
- Working store events, parties, etc.
- Attention to and allergies & dietary restrictions
- Cleaning kitchen, workstations, and restrooms
- Wiping down counters, chairs, tables, floors, trash receptacles
- Restock ice cream flavors, ingredients and packaging supplies
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- High school diploma a plus
- Carry up to 15 lbs.
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Available 3-5 days; late nights & weekends
- Superior customer service skills
Pay Range (Part-Time)
$12–15 per hour
Pay rates are based on experience
