Pay Rate: $22.00
Location: Houston, TX 77051
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm
Job Duties:
Administering medications and vaccines according to standing delegation. Assists, patients in preparing for physical examination, room patients, follow providers orders. Will perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and comply with AP 2-2 policy.
Must have current CMA License, professional demeanor proficient with working and documentation in an electronic medical records system. Must be Bilingual English/Spanish. Willing work location will vary between Sunnyside MSC, Northside and other HHD Health Centers. Requires a high school diploma or GED certificate. Completion of a standardized program of medical education that provides training in medically assisting patients. CERTIFICATION / LICENSE: Medical Assistant certification is required. Completion of basic CPR certification required. Medical Assistant and CPR certification must be maintained and current for continued employment. EXPERIENCE: Six months of related experience in a medical clinic, hospital or other health care facility are required.
