Warehouse Clerk

We is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying inventory accuracy, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring materials are processed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in a warehouse environment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments while verifying quantities and product condition
• Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
• Create and maintain shipping documentation, packing slips, bills of lading, and related paperwork
• Enter shipment information into computer systems and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments regarding deliveries and shipments
• Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy
• Load and unload materials using proper equipment and safe handling procedures
• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
• Organize warehouse areas to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
• Track shipments and resolve discrepancies related to damaged, missing, or incorrect materials
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software preferred
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and labels
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and customers
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RF scanners and barcode systems
• Forklift, pallet jack, or material handling experience
• Knowledge of shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse organization
• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping processes

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach throughout the workday
• Ability to safely handle materials and packages of various sizes and weights
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment while following all safety guidelines

Schedule

Full-Time Position
Monday – Friday plus overtime
