Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Operations to lead the daily manufacturing operations of our fast-paced production facility. This is a senior leadership role requiring a strategic thinker with a strong background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement, and executing complex operational strategies aligned with aggressive growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day plant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Lead operational excellence initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and KPI-driven methodologies.
- Manage plant ramp-up activities to meet increased customer demand and production targets.
- Champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across departments.
Strategic Execution
- Collaborate with the Group VP to align operational strategies with broader business objectives.
- Develop and implement scalable systems and processes to support expansion and operational capacity.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and drive performance against key operational metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems (implementation and optimization).
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale operational initiatives.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
