What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapist- Sto-Rox position at CHARTIERS CENTER?
Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, third party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program.
As a Therapist at our Sto-Rox location with Chartiers Center, you would be committed to providing compassionate supports and therapy to people facing mental health challenges. Job duties as a therapist include:
- Outreach to community members in the Sto-Rox area to provide support and education.
- Complete evaluation/assessments, individual, family and group therapy and documentation.
- Plan and coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings and maintain ongoing contact with natural and professional supports.
We are looking for the following:
- Licensed Professional Counselor- LPC
- Master’s Level Therapist with 2 years’ of experience
