What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Therapist position at CHARTIERS CENTER?
Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, third party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program.
As a Residential Therapist in our Long-Term Structured Residence Facility, you would be committed to providing compassionate supports and therapy to 16 people facing mental health challenges. The program operates in a beautifully restored home with a relaxed atmosphere. The focus is on engagement and interactions with the residents. Paperwork requirements are nominal. The work schedule is based on a 2-week rotation with every other weekend off.
Residential Therapist Job duties include:

Complete functional assessments, develop treatment plans and complete utilization reviews and updates on a monthly basis for a caseload of 8 residents.

Conduct a variety of clinical group activities designed to enhance interactions and minimize symptoms.

Participate in treatment team meetings, interdisciplinary team meetings, psychiatric staffing, and individual supervision.
We are looking for the following:

Master’s Level Therapists with two years’ experience (preferred)

Licensed Professional Counselor- LPC
