What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Secretary position at Chartiers Center?
Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, third party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program.
As a Program Secretary with Chartiers Center at our Bridgeville Office, you would be responsible for providing administrative support to the Outpatient Department and Recovery Living Service Line.
Job Duties Include:
Provide necessary clerical support for the Director and Clinical Administrator which includes discretion in the processing of sensitive materials and coordination/ distribution of relevant department information
Type and process correspondence, reports, contracts, confidential documents from handwritten or dictated sources.
Provide necessary Front Desk coverage to include check-in of clients; greeting and direction of clients; preparation of Encounter Forms; statusing of appointments; verification of insurance coverage; scanning of insurance cards/identification cards; scheduling/rescheduling of appointments and processing of payments.
Provide assistance in running and management of reports to monitor and track various data needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and two (2) years related office experience
