Position Specifics

• Location: Charter Wire – 7850 N. 81st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53222
• Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday–Friday
  
  

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide a dedicated production team, drive operational excellence, and ensure customer expectations are met with quality and efficiency.

• Lead and support your team to meet production goals for quality, productivity, and waste reduction
• Promote safety, teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement
• Provide coaching, training, and performance reviews to support employee growth
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
• Partner with other departments and shifts to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Environmental, Quality, and Safety standards
  
  

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of related industry experience, or equivalent education/experience
• Supervisory or leadership experience (or supervisor training)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, coach, and follow up effectively
• Team-oriented with experience collaborating cross-functionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Self-motivated, accountable, and organized with a sense of urgency
  
  

Nice to Have’s

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Metallurgy, or related field
• 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical and data reporting skills
