The Driver / Transportation Assistant is responsible for safely transporting residents to appointments, outings, activities, and scheduled destinations while providing excellent customer service and compassionate support throughout the transportation experience.

Essential Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities
- Assist residents in and out of vehicles safely and respectfully
- Ensure resident comfort and safety during transportation
- Follow all local, state, and company driving regulations and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transportation vehicles
- Build positive relationships with residents and families
- Communicate effectively with community leadership and team members
- Participate in required meetings, training, and community events
- Support resident activities and engagement as needed
- Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Previous transportation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Compassionate and resident-focused attitude
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable attendance and strong time management skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
