Position Summary: Business Office Manager
The Business Office Manager (BOM) plays a vital leadership role in the success of our community by ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate financial management.
You’ll partner closely with the Executive Director to oversee administrative, accounting, and human resource functions while maintaining the warm, family-like culture Charter Senior Living is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting, billing, and payroll functions with accuracy and integrity
Support accounts receivable/payable and resident billing processes
Maintain financial records, budgets, and reports in compliance with company standards
Assist with HR functions, onboarding, and employee record management
Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff
Act as a communication liaison between the corporate office and the community
Support the Executive Director in overall community operations and problem-solving
Qualifications
✅ Experience: 2–3 years in bookkeeping, office management, or business administration (senior living or healthcare preferred)
✅ Skills: Strong organization, time management, and interpersonal communication
✅ Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting or HR systems a plus
✅ Attributes: Detail-oriented, dependable, and compassionate with a strong sense of integrity
