As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and identifying appropriate candidates for consideration within the organization.
How You Will Impact Education
- Identify potential candidates through various channels like job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Review resumes, conduct interviews (phone, video, or in-person), and assess candidates' skills and qualifications.
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
- Develop creative recruiting sourcing strategies and proactively build a robust pipeline of candidates for critical and repeat roles. This will include active and passive candidate sourcing, cold calling, and internet-based sourcing. The majority of this will focus on technology-based searches.
- Provide a smooth and positive experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Market career opportunities and aggressively manage requisitions to meet target service level agreements.
- Track and analyze recruitment data to identify areas for improvement and optimize hiring processes.
- Adheres to assigned performance metrics.
- Identify the organization's long-term talent needs, analyzing industry trends, and creating comprehensive strategies to attract and engage qualified candidates.
- Keep abreast of new technologies, methodologies, and best practices in talent acquisition to maintain a competitive edge.
- Possesses excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Are results driven with the proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to assess business needs and talent markets in developing recruitment strategies, programs and tools in support of business objectives.
- Demonstrates strong proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Has strong knowledge of Human Resource policy and procedures, as well as employment laws.
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn the education industry.
- Demonstrate adaptability, drive, grit, and a relentless commitment to excellence.
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, or in an equivalent business-related degree.
- Experience conducting full life cycle recruiting with successful track record.
- Experience conducting full life cycle recruiting at the entry level to executive level.
- Three to five years of corporate recruiting experience; executive search and/or agency experience is a plus.
- Experience working ADP- Recruiting management or similar ATS, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn and Social Media recruiting is highly desirable.
- May perform other duties assigned.
