Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Workday Project Manager to lead Finance and Procurement initiatives within an ERP transformation environment. This role partners closely with Finance, Procurement, IT, Workday functional teams, and third-party vendors to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable Workday Financials solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday Financial Management and Procurement initiatives, including implementations, enhancements, integrations, and optimizations.
- Manage lifecycle activities across Workday Financials modules: GL, AP/AR, Assets, Procurement, Banking & Settlements, and Financial Reporting.
- Partner with Finance and Procurement leaders to align Workday design with accounting policies, approval workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with Workday functional leads, integration teams (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors), vendors, and internal SMEs.
- Oversee project plans, milestones, testing cycles, data conversion, integrations, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Drive Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) process improvements.
- Conduct status meetings, manage risks/issues, and provide clear stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- PMP certification
- 5 years project management experience (ERP / Financial systems)
- 3 years experience managing enterprise application implementations
- 3 years hands-on experience with Workday Financials
- Strong knowledge of accounting, procurement processes, and ERP integrations
- Proficient with MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading vendor-managed projects
- Prior state government experience
- Hands-on exposure to Workday Financial Management & Procurement
- Strong executive-level communication skills
