Chart's operator position plays an important role in the manufacturing process of Chart's products. This position will be responsible of producing high quality manufactured products that are assembled and used all over the world.
What Will You Do?
Assist in the fabrication of unique sets of material needed for production.
Observe and practice safety procedures and policies.
Maintain required production and inspection records.
Operating cranes and forklifts.
Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, and walking.
Frequent pushing, pulling, and handling of material.
Repetitive hand movements during the production process.
This position is classified as safety sensitive. Due to the use of heavy machinery, power tools, and exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, the role requires heightened awareness and adherence to all safety protocols. Employees must be able to perform duties in a manner that ensures their own safety and the safety of others in the workplace
Your Experience Should Be...
Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience in a fast paced environment.
Familiarity with use of hand tools.
Understanding and use of basic blueprints.
Ability to use and understand various measuring devices; tape measure, micrometer, gauges, etc.
