What Will You Do?
- Implement safety policies, programs, and best practices to comply with OSHA, ANSI, EPA, and federal regulations.
- Lead and support accident investigations and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Develop or maintain industrial hygiene programs (e.g., noise surveys, atmosphere monitoring).
- Collaborate with site leaders and employees on safety initiatives and training.
- Manage workers’ compensation cases and assist with documentation.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate safety records using Microsoft Office Suite.
Your Experience Should Be...
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
- Internship or coursework related to safety, compliance, or industrial hygiene preferred (not required).
- Familiarity with OSHA standards, ANSI guidelines, and EPA regulations.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections.
- Willingness to be hands-on and travel as needed.
- Knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and case management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated managerial courage and problem-solving skills.
