Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Deliver therapy in individual and group settings within the school environment
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Implement strategies to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active or pending state OT license
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children in a school setting
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience
- Familiarity with IEPs and special education processes
