Now Hiring a Project Manager/Estimator:We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Project Manager/Estimator to lead and coordinate large-scale heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects within commercial settings.This role combines estimating expertise with project management skills to deliver successful HVAC solutions from initial bid through project completion.The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging construction estimating tools and project management software to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.Your expertise will drive efficiency, foster strong client relationships, and uphold safety standards across all phases of HVAC construction projects.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial HVAC projects using construction estimating software like HeavyBid and ProCore.Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to develop detailed project scopes and cost analysis.Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify project requirements and specifications.Develop comprehensive project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools to ensure timely delivery.Manage all aspects of project execution including procurement, subcontractor coordination, and site supervision.Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.Utilize construction management software for tracking progress, managing change orders, and maintaining accurate documentation.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately estimate material quantities and labor needs.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure compliance with design specifications.Foster effective communication among project teams to facilitate smooth project flow from start to finish.Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining detailed records for accountability.QUALIFICATIONS:Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on commercial HVAC projects; familiarity with HeavyBid is highly desirable.Strong project management skills with proficiency in Primavera P6 or Primavera P3 for scheduling; experience with construction management software is essential.Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction site operations.Hands-on experience in construction management including site supervision and coordination of tradespeople.Knowledge of civil 3D for site layout planning is a plus.Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam for document review and ProCore for project collaboration.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients, team members, vendors, and subcontractors.Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
